Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa’s first look in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming film Argyle has been published. NEXT YEAR, Apple TV+ will distribute the spy thriller, adapting Ellie Conway’s still unpublished novel.
Cavill and Lipa are joined by Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Ariana DeBose, and John Cena and Samuel L. Jackson in the ensemble cast.
According to a press release, the film “follows the globetrotting exploits of a super-spy called Argyle around the United States, London, and other exotic locales.”
Vaughn (Kingsman) will direct from a screenplay by Jason Fuchs (Wonder Woman), which will also be produced by Marv and Vaughn’s frequent partners Adam Bohling and David Reid. Executive producers will include Zygi Kamasa, Carlos Peres, Claudia Vaughn, and Adam Fishbach.

“When I first read this early draught screenplay, I thought it was the most spectacular and unique espionage franchise since Ian Fleming’s 1950s novels,” Vaughn said in a statement. “This is going to reintroduce a new dimension to the espionage genre.”
“We are overjoyed to be embarking on our fourth, and by far the largest, feature film production since the outbreak of the global epidemic,” Marv CEO Kamasa remarked.
It indicates both our goal to expand our production activities and our desire to continue launching new brands in addition to the Kingsman film franchise.”
Argyle began filming last summer – no release date has been established until next year.
