With the cliffhanger from the latest part of the series, Jujutsu Kaisen has set the stage for Yuta Okkotsu’s surprising three-way battle!
The Culling Game has entered a new phase, as emphasis has shifted away from Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro’s advancement in the Tokyo No. 1 Colony and toward Yuta’s ascension through the ranks of the Sendai Colony.
Yuta has rapidly established himself as a big target after eliminating two of the colony’s highest-scoring players in his first real combat.
When the Sendai Colony’s candidates were presented, it was revealed that the colony was at a standstill due to a standoff between the colony’s top four sorcerers. The latter all refrained from acting on one another due to their equal threat.
Yuta immediately disrupted this dynamic by eliminating two of these characters in previous chapters and promptly targeted the remaining two to profit from the upheaval.
With the series’s latest installment pushing this struggle to a new level, Yuta now finds himself facing off against two of Sendai’s best players simultaneously.
Chapter 176 of the series continues immediately after Takako Uro assaults yuta in the previous chapter. Despite her violent behavior toward him, it is shown that she is still extremely wary for some reason.
At the same time, depending on how her Cursed Technique truly works, it’s evident that she was attempting to provoke him into fighting. The two of them exchanged banter as Yuta attempted to decipher how this reincarnated old sorcerer worked, but they were soon stopped by Ryo Ishigori, the final member of the top four players.
When he strikes, Yuta and Takako immediately realize that the only way ahead is to eliminate the other two opponents.

Given that the deadlock has broken down, it only makes sense for each of them to further level the playing field by eliminating two formidable fighters while they still have the chance. We’ll soon find out if Yuta can survive this one unscathed with three warriors pursuing their objectives.
