The documentary film about the life of Madonna is underway and strikingly, it is probably the highly sought-after role in the Hollywood industry.
As per the report from The Hollywood Reporter, “everyone from Emmy winners and Oscar nominees to singers turned actresses has been seen for the role” as well as a number of prospective leads have evolved to “Madonna Bootcamp.”
Well, we know everyone out there must be curious about who these people are? And the answer is that Julia Garner who starred in “Ozark,” “Little Women,” “Inventing Anna,” “Black Widow,” “Midsommar,” and Florence Pugh who starred in Hawkeye, and Alexa Demie who starred in Euphoria, along with Emma Laird and Odessa Young.
In addition to the aforementioned, Bebe Rexha as well as Sky Ferreira, have been considered for singers along with a number of other singers as well.
Intense Training to Be Given to Actresses
It seems like the audition part for the movie has been taking place for months and of course with full intensity, with one representative explaining it to the news outlet saying “grueling.”
And it somehow sounds correct taking into account the actresses likely to get are having sessions of around 11 hours with the choreographer of Madonna, and later that, Madonna herself will provide some training to them to enhance their dancing skills, and it does not come as a surprise as it is well known that she is immensely engaged in the film since she serves as co-writer as well as director.
Singing and readings auditions with some prospective leads are being done by Madonna herself. It is described by a source saying, “you have to be able to do everything.”
And as soon as the casting gets completed, the selected ones can anticipate intense training for a few months prior to when the production for the film starts, as the project requires great dancing and singing (it ends up with the 1990 Blonde Ambition tour of Madonna).
It looks like the film would keep up the semi-recent trend of the musical biographical film; we have watched “Rocket Man” that was about Elton John, “Bohemian Rhapsody” that was about Freddie Mercury and Queen and “Respect” that was Aretha Franklin that release in recent years amongst others.
It seems like the film is going to be really worth waiting for and we are excited about who will finally join the cast of the film. We will keep you updated with all the latest information, until then stay tuned to our website.
