In the last week, Netflix’s productions for Lupin and The Crown have been extremely swiped.
A real-life heist is being experienced by the streaming giant.
According to previous reports, the production-based in Northern England for The Crown was robbed and props of nearly $200,000 were swiped on February 24, 2022.
Several production vehicles were barged in along with the purported robbery of over 350 items. A number of the items were luxurious props that are utilized for the decoration of the well-known British royal family period drama, like a replica Fabergé egg and gold and silver candelabras.
The Crown is the hit historical drama about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II that is created by Peter Morgan.
In a statement, a spokesman for Netflix said “We can confirm the antiques have been stolen and we hope that they are found and returned safely,” adding further “Replacements will be sourced, there is no expectation that filming will be held up.”
