Despite being one of Barcelona’s highest-paid players this season, Ousmane Dembele has fallen short of expectations and is set to leave the club in the summer when his contract expires.
The Frenchman chose not to renew his contract and did not appear willing to leave the club in January, despite Barcelona’s desperate need to offload him to free up salary-cap space and sign another striker in an attempt to recapture their form under Xavi Hernandez.
During his five years with the Catalans, Dembele won two LaLiga Santander crowns, two Copa del Rey trophies, and a Supercopa de Espana. Still, he never distinguished out despite occasional glimpses of his talent.
Ousmane Dembele’s net worth
Dembele’s net worth is projected to be about 7.2 million euros as of 2022. The France international joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for a reported 105 million euros plus an additional 35 million euros in add-ons.

How much money does Ousmane Dembele earn?
Dembele earns approximately 250,000 euros per week in the final year of his contract, which equates to almost 13 million euros for the season. This is one of the primary reasons Barcelona struggled to sell Dembele in January, as there were few buyers capable of covering his salary and meeting his pay demands.
Dembele is now free to sign a contract with any other team and try elsewhere after refusing to renew his contract with Barcelona.
