Well, more than twenty years have passed since the premiere of “The Fairly OddParents” the second longest-running anime series of Nickelodeon.
Paramount plus made an official announcement on February 24, 2021, about the development of the live-action follow-up show, and about a year after it, the streaming service confirmed that the reboot series is all set to release this March.
Christopher J. Nowak will be the executive producer as well as showrunner of the series whereas Hartman and Seibert will come back to serve as producers. Additionally, Mike Caron and Samantha Martin will also serve as the executive producers of the series.
However, the sequel “The Fairly Oddparents: Fairly Odder” will not only be an anime series, rather it will be packed with live-action along with cartoon elements.

The filming for the follow-up series started in July last year and is slated to premiere on March 31, 2022, with a total of ten episodes on Paramount plus.

A few casts will return from the original anime series to reprise their roles. Here’s the confirmed cast of the upcoming reboot series.
- Audrey Grace Marshall to portray the character Vivian “Viv” Turner
- Laura Bell Bundy to portray the character Rachel Ragland
- Imogen Cohen to portray the character Zina Zacarias
- Tyler Wladis to portray the character Roy Ragland
- Ryan-James Hatanaka to portray the character Ty Turner
Apart from them, Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee are also joining the voice cast, Norris will give his voice for the character Cosmo and the character of Wanda will be voiced by Blakeslee.

The storyline of the show will follow the conflicts and issues faced by Viv and Roy as a consequence of their wishes.
