Yellowstone fans have been waiting impatiently to learn when Season 5 will begin, and a release timetable has officially been disclosed.
Variety talked with executive producer David Glasser about all Yellowstone. It stated that the EP hinted that production for Season 5 would begin in May, with the show possibly premiering in the autumn.
“It’s the peak of the show,” Glasser remarked of the program’s present narrative state. “I believe the program is still in its infancy, and there is still more narrative to tell.”
Glasser continued by stating that series creator Taylor Sheridan is far from through with the Yellowstone storylines, which she is currently working on. “Taylor, as I’m sure you’re aware, has a lot to say and a lot to write. He’s now halfway through Season 5 of Yellowstone.

He provided some amazing ideas that I believe viewers would be ecstatic about.” Glasser went on, “As long as it is true and can be executed in a super-luxurious manner. I believe Taylor’s strategy of putting authenticity first has worked well for us and will continue to do so.
As you can guess, a plethora of options have presented themselves to Paramount and us, and we’re considering them all. We want to communicate with our audience in the most effective manner possible.”

Yellowstone is a Paramount Network television series starring Kevin Costner as John Dutton, the father of the Dutton family. His family owns the country’s biggest contiguous cattle ranch. Yellowstone just concluded its fourth season, and the colossal episode broke a new viewership record.
According to Deadline, the finale had a total audience of 9.3 million in Live+Same Day. This increased 81% over the Season 3 finale, drawing 5.2 million viewers. Additionally, the Season 4 finale beat the previous record of 8 million people for Live+Same Day viewing established by the Yellowstone Season 4 opener.
The Yellowstone Season 4 finale is the most-binged cable program since the October 2017 debut of The Walking Dead Season 8 on AMC, which drew 11.4 million people.

“Yellowstone continues to break records, with over 11 million viewers tuning in for the season finale, demonstrating that we’ve struck a cultural nerve – from the heart of the country to each coast – and still have plenty of room to grow on linear,” said ViacomCBS Media Networks President and CEO Chris McCarthy.
“Our approach of franchising Yellowstone into a universe of series to drive development for Paramount+ is already outperforming expectations, with 1883 and Mayor of Kingstown ranking among the top titles.” Currently, no official date has been set for the start of Yellowstone Season 5.
