The actual novel was on the top of the best-seller lists in the UK in 2016 and has now been made into a series. All episodes of the series will stream only on BritBox UK from February 10. It has six parts and promises to amaze the watchers throughout the murder mystery.

Who Is in the Cast of Magpie Murders?
The cast includes Lesley Manville who plays the central character Susan Ryeland, an editor for a mystery writer. Alan Conway, the writer, is played by Conleth Hill. Others are Daniel Mays, Tim McMullan, Pippa Haywood, and Michael Maloney.
Mays is famous for his acting in Line of Duty and McMullan from Foyles War, Haywood from Bridgerton, and Maloney from The Crown. Hill has formerly acted in Game of Thrones.
Is There a Trailer for Magpie Murders?
Yes, BritBox released the official trailer on January 13 and it displays Susan getting a typescript for Magpie Murders. But the plot is lacking its ultimate chapter and she is heard questioning a whodunnit without an ending.
It’s not worth the paper to be printed in. But when an uncanny murder happens, Susan takes the responsibility to find the solution. She declares that she is going to Suffolk to search for the missing pages. The last chapter was taken up by someone anonymous.
What Is Magpie Murders About?
Two uncanny murders are found at the same time, lasting two time periods. The audience will skip between the 1950s and contemporary Britain where the cast is playing various characters in different literary aspects. Susan Ryeland is the editor for the mystery writer Alan Conway.
BritBox said that when Susan receives an incomplete manuscript from Conway showing his very famous detective Atticus Pund but no reference of the author himself, she sets out on her way with barely any idea that it will transform her life altogether.
