The hit shonen anime series Demon Slayer will be returning for a second season in 2020 with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train building on the runaway popularity of its debut season in 2019 and its 2020 feature film debut. The broadcast details for episode two of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba were announced today on the official anime website. Additionally, it is clear which providers will carry the simulcast of the new episodes.

It is anticipated that the second season of the famous Japanese animation will premiere on October 10, 2021, and will include the “Mugen Train” arc from the film. In the first episode, which has one hour, the film’s events are set one day before the events that occur in the movie. Several new scenes and revised music will also be featured in the remaining six episodes.

December 5, 2021, marks the start of Demon Slayer Season 2’s “Entertainment District” arc. In addition to a 1-hour special, the premiere will feature two episodes. There will be two consecutive broadcasts of the second season (three months each) – October 2021 and March 2022.

The new episodes will still debut on Japanese TV this year. There is no specific date yet. Due to the popularity of the “Demon Slayer” brand, the second season of the series will air on over thirty channels in Japan (including Fuji TV and Tokyo MX).
